Can excess stock help you save the environment? We think so.

Feeling inspired by Earth Day yesterday? How about if we told you that you can help the environment just by sorting out your stock?

Not only does excess stock inventory take up space which you could be using for something else, by ensuring it is properly dealt with you can lessen the impact it has on the environment. Think about it, you're paying storage fees for something you no longer need, incurring electricity/heating costs which cost you money – and isn't exactly friendly to the environment either!

And what happens when you need to get rid of your excess components? If you hold onto them for too long the stock will become completely useless, need disposing of and this in turn will cause more damage to the environment, and your profitability.

So what can you do instead? By contacting Trading Specialists we can assess and take your excess components away, freeing up your warehouse space, helping lessen the environmental impact and giving your company a cash injection at the same time.

Send your stocklist through to web@trading-specialists.com or feel free to call us if you need more information on +44 (0)1904 436550

Join Us In Donating To The Philippines Typhoon Appeal

Millions of people have been affected by Typhoon Haiyan which struck the Philippines on 8th November 2013.

Typhoon Haiyan was 300 miles across and was the strongest tropical storm to ever make landfall. Hundreds of thousands of people have lost everything and are in urgent need of emergency shelter, food and clean water.

The Disaster Emergency Committee’s (DEC) Chief Executive Saleh Saeed said “The public’s reaction to the sheer devastation left by Typhoon Haiyan has been quite simply remarkable. We are so grateful for the huge volume of donations, which are vital to fund the work done by our member agencies’ emergency teams.”

The Cyclops Group will be holding a dress down day on Friday 29th November in aid of the Philippines Typhoon Appeal. All proceeds raised for the appeal are being used to deliver food, water, household items and tarpaulins to those affected by the typhoon.

If you would like to make a donation please visit the DEC website and click on the red 'donate now' button.
